I am a proud Kiwi who was born in Auckland, and raised multi-culturally with the influence of a Croatian heritage. Auckland has provided me with endless opportunities, including following my passion for teaching through pursing training as an Intermediate School teacher. As a teacher my ambition is to shape and positively influence the young minds of my students, helping develop a brighter future for them. Looking ahead, I wish to pursue more senior leadership roles in teaching as a team leader, or a school principal.
Until then, I will continue to develop effective teaching and learning skills to ensure that I am continually growing to be the best version of a teacher that I can be. Using my platform as Miss Auckland, and as a teacher, it is essential to me to role model and teach young people the importance of having confidence within themselves, and the importance of giving to others.
Throughout Miss Auckland and as a Miss World New Zealand finalist, I have shared my journey with my students by involving them in service, fundraising and volunteer work with charities within our community. It has been tremendously rewarding to see these young people give back to their community, and experience the difference they can make in the lives of people who may need support. I also really enjoyed supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities last year throughout my Miss Auckland journey, by fundraising and attending special events. I love that I am now a trained oncall volunteer at RMHC, and I look forward to continuing this relationship with them. I am very family orientated and adore spending time with my loved ones. I enjoy keeping fit, whether
dancing, at the gym, or out exploring the beautiful locations New Zealand has to offer.
